You’re not being helpful or blunt, you’re being rather rude. It works the other way too here, some meds don’t ALLOW you to lose weight. I am here trying to gain weight because I’m having health issues due to my weight, but my medications are causing me to lose that weight. For the foods thing, calories do play a part but so does medication. Where we live, there isn’t a convenient gym around that isn’t at it’s full capacity and it’s too cold to workout outside right now. You are not her doctor, you don’t know anything about her health so you shouldn’t be giving her advice. Now it is obviously harder for some people than others but that’s just life. you are eating more calories than you realise. You can eat a little but still have calorie dense foods clearly youre eating more than you burn off its simple mathematics. BUt i dont sit here making excuses for being overwieght instead im gonna go to the gym tomorrow and exercise and make meal plans to make sure i eat a low calorie diet. I have an underactive thyroid that caused me to gain weight. Two of which can cause and have caused me to gain weight. I barely eat anything and I’m still over weight. ![]() Medications make it difficult to loose weight but very easy to gain it. ![]() Not all of us can afford to buy healthier things. Not all of us can loose weight like we gained it.
